About Us
I grew up in Narooma and have always loved the Tilba area. Narooma is the Aboriginal word for "clear blue water" and the water here is a particularly sparkly shade of blue that I have never seen anywhere else in the world but here. Tilba is a beautiful little village just 10 minutes South of Narooma, nestled under the watchful eye of Mount Gulaga, a mountain sacred to the Yuin people in this region.
That beautiful blue water, the rolling hills, the unique rock formations and beautiful Mount Gulaga combine to make this a truly special place.
For many years I have loved the slow and thoughtful nature of Montessori and Waldorf methods, and embraced the open ended messy natural play that evolves as a result. Did I mention the mess? There's a lot of mess!
We have chosen the items we have in our store carefully, they are things we are sure you will love, because we love them ourselves. They are things that give us good memories, and provide endless opportunities for fun and joy.
Whether it be the sparkly blue gems of the Colour Street blocks reminding us of the clear blue water, or the unique wood grain and cut of a hand carved Grimm's rainbow reminding me of my childhood home and all it's rustic charm, these are toys that are made to last, toys that we hope will stay in your family for generations.
Our life is not picture perfect, but it is filled with love. We encourage you to play with the toys, get messy, draw on the pavement and write each other love letters.
Thank you for stopping by, we'd love to hear from you over on Facebook or Instagram!
